Must visit beach with beautiful scenic sunset view and less crowded. Beach is very clean and perfect spot for prewedding shoots
If you are looking for a calm & peaceful beach with no crowds, Velas is the best option. It's a beautiful beach.
You need to take a walk of 20 min from the main road to reach the beach. No direct way available to reach here.
But there are some cons of this place :
1)No food available along the beach
2) No proper residence is available near by
3) Very remote area, not safe for family post sunset
White sand beach abot 30 min from Diveagar. Normally there is absolutely no one (even life guard is absent). No water sport activities. No food stalls. There is a small temple built inside rock in the rocky patch nearby. Free parking on road.
Very peaceful and calm beach
Nice sands and crabs, star fish and other marine fauna can be found during low tide. It has a rocky area and a small sandy are. The beach doesn’t have any crowd before 9:00 am
Overall very good beach
Beautiful serene beach with almost no people. The place is only crowded during Turtle festival Feb-March. The place needs to be cleaned up also.

In the months of February to April , there is a Velas Turtle Festival which is a pleasure to attend!
A beautiful, clean and peaceful beach with beautiful people around.. This place is famous for the Turtle festival organised every year to conserve the endangered Olive ridley turtles who come to lay their eggs on the beach and hatch them.. The locals are doing a great job. We had our stay at a local guesthouse.. The food was amazing. It's hot but not humid, unlike other beach areas..
